Colectic, technology for social transformation
Colectic is a non-profit cooperative dedicated to social transformation through inclusion, autonomy, and empowerment in social, labor, and technological fields. We believe technology is a key tool for participation and social change.
We challenge the current capitalist, restrictive technological model and advocates for citizens to be active creators rather than passive consumers of technology. Colectic encourages the use of free software and hardware, ensuring technology is a common good accessible to all.
Colectic's work is guided by the values of the solidarity economy, focusing on equality, autonomy, social impact, environmental sustainability, and participatory governance, always placing people at the center of their initiatives.

Our project is based on three main pillars:
- Social and digital inclusion: Colectic works to reduce the digital divide by helping marginalized groups access ICT and develop digital skills.
- Employment and training: They provide technological training to help people enhance their job skills and facilitate their entry or return to the labor market, particularly in the tech sector.
- Free and community-based digital culture: Colectic promotes the use of free software and hardware, as well as citizen participation in the creation of technology. They believe in an active and creative citizenry, not just consumers.

Technical Office of the Canòdrom - Ateneu for Social and Digital Innovation of Barcelona
The Ateneu for Digital and Democratic Innovation is a key center in Barcelona for digital technologies and citizen participation, serving as a dynamic space for local residents and organizations.
Since 2020, the Technical Office has been responsible for coordinating democratic innovation, supporting research in technology and democracy, managing residencies and projects, providing digital and democratic literacy programs, and overseeing the Canòdrom Obert space.
Technical Office of the Punt TIC Network
The Punt TIC Network, a project of the Government of Catalonia, provides public access points to new technologies and serves as a catalyst for social innovation and economic development in Catalonia. We ensure the achievement of its objectives by promoting communication, training, and initiatives among network members.
Since 2008, Colectic has managed support services for network facilitators, handling website content, promoting the network's presence online, organizing virtual activities and campaigns, and supervising training. We support over 500 network points.
Technical Office of the Òmnia Network
The Òmnia Network is a key social inclusion project in Catalonia that uses digital technologies to support vulnerable communities. It is managed by the Government of Catalonia.
Colectic was foundational to the network, operating one of the first Òmnia Points and coordinates the program, providing pedagogical and technological support, and managing communication about the program's activities and results.
Colectic also oversees the maintenance of technological tools and analyzes the program's impact, supporting the 113 Òmnia Points across Catalonia.
